系所宗旨
風險管理與保險學系以風險管理與保險的理論教育為基礎，追求具體的表現，培育學生成為具有專業性、責任感、崇高的職業倫理標準、團隊精神和國際觀的全方位風險管理與保險經營人才，以服務風險管理與保險界為宗旨。
系所簡介
本系所前身為專科時期的銀行保險科，於民國46年由本校創辦人李應兆博士所創立，期間培育了無數銀行與保險業的專業人才。民國79年，更名為銀行保險學系，正式邁入大學院校時期。為了專業分工，銀行保險學系在民國80年正式拆分為保險學系及財務金融學系。
嗣後，為了突顯風險管理在金融保險業與製造生產事業經營管理上的重要性，民國88年，正式更名為風險管理與保險學系。
經由本系所的培育，學生不僅具備金融保險業風險管理與保險的基本專業知識，也具備製造生產事業風險管理的專業知能，擴大了本系畢業生的就業範圍。民國91年，本系正式成立研究所，招收一般與在職研究生。民國106年起本系更進一步將大學部新生按「保險金融行銷」與「風險管理」進行分組，並依組別強化各組理論與實務訓練，以應職場需求。
此外為回應金融科技的趨勢與風險管理之演化，大學部與研究所課程更新增金融數據分析等應用相關課程。
