系所宗旨
資訊應用與金融保險學系以資訊應用與金融保險的基礎教育為基礎，兼顧理論與實務課程，培育學習者成為具有專業性、責任感、職業倫理、團隊精神與國際觀的專業人才，以服務資訊與金融保險界為宗旨。
系所簡介
本系所前身為專科時期的銀行保險科，於民國46年由本校創辦人李應兆博士所創立，期間培育無數銀行與保險業的專業人才。民國79年，更名為銀行保險學系，正式邁入大學院校時期。民國80年，因應專業分工需求，拆分為保險學系與財務金融學系。民國88年，為突顯風險管理在金融保險與企業經營中的重要性，更名為風險管理與保險學系，研究所溯自民國91年，成立「風險管理與保險學系研究所」，招收一般與在職研究生。
民國114年，因應全球邁向AI時代與數位金融的趨勢，本系將金融保險專業與大數據、人工智慧、資訊應用深度結合，強化學生資料庫操作、程式設計與AI應用能力，推動金融保險與資訊應用的跨領域融合，全面升級專業技能，正式更名為「資訊應用與金融保險學系」。
經由本系所的培育，學習者不僅具備資訊應用，AI創意的基本專業知識，同時結合金融保險的專業職能，擴大與強化本系畢業生的就業範圍與職能。未來在資訊應用、金融保險及風險管理人才需求甚殷的前提下(見表1)，本系所能效力於相關專業人才的培育，希冀成為培育亞洲金融保險及風險管理人才的頂尖系所。
